“my parents’ aversion to putting the heating on” 🤣🤣🤣 same, and the Apple doesn’t fall from the tree! Why waste energy when you can put on warmer (winter) or lighter (summer) clothes?

I especially love the details and proportions of your Toast outfit on the sea 👏🏻.

I'm so pleased to hear that! It's such an interesting question and not always easy to answer but it's a great exercise to sit down and really think about it.

You're from the Wirral too?! We all have to describe where it is because nobody has heard of it 😆

I also work in menswear, and it has given me such a good perspective on fit, detail, fabric, and quality. Love your reminder about imagery, art is all about looking and so is fashion and personal style. I like to screenshot everything I can and then go back and look for patterns and themes to clue me into what I like!

That's it. I have so many images I've saved and it's so interesting to go back and see what the common threads are.

Your personal style does have a very distinct and aspirational POV. Thanks for sharing how you landed on your current style.

My job require me to wear very basic and comfortable clothes (I wear tracksuits every day) but these represent the tiniest fraction of my wardrobe 🤣🤣 And the reason is really simple: I don't like to wear tracksuits and t-shirts because they don't make me feel enough elegant. The clothes that make me feel empowered are the ones that have nothing to do with my lifestyle. I don't like to dress basic and whenever I go out I'm happy to wear my elegant dresses 🥰

Love that. Absolutely, go for what you feel best in!
